"Up, up, and away" serves as this year’s theme to the Stonewall Jackson Elementary School annual fall carnival.

Stonewall Jackson PTA and the Dad's Club put the whole thing together, and the carnival promises the obligatory bounce houses, rock climbing walls, outdoor games, a cake walk, a market, a wheel of wonder, a maze "in the dark" in the auditorium, and a dunking booth where you get the chance to sink one of the teachers or staff into a big tub of water.

The event takes place from 1-5 p.m., Oct. 17, at Stonewall.

Tickets can be purchased at the event for 50 cents each. This carnival is big-time.
