Singing Silently

The Dallas ISD recognizes the efforts of city elementary school choirs with a special performance of the All-City Honor Choir.

The free event starts at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 19, at Hector Garcia Middle School.

Julie Lodi, music teacher at Stonewall Jackson Elementary School, plays flute during a performance of “Zum Gali Gali,” conducted by Kevin Hastings.

Stonewall's Signing Stars sign language choir, directed by Joel Hill, performs “Where Is the Peace” and “We Are The Children of Tomorrow.” Lodi co-directs the All-City Choir, which includes students of Robert E. Lee Elementary School, during the latter piece.End of story
